Abstract
AOBARBOLISMO

The projects’ main objective is to generate a home that immediately solve the basic needs of a community affected by a natural disaster, in this case, by a tsunami, taking into account the concept of a tree as a cultural symbol of this society.
Because of the consequences generated by the tsunami in Sendai, Aobarbolismo was born as a basis for the design of a proposal that can be replicated in similar locations or after disasters like this one. Sendai is considered the city of trees so we propose an urban setting with hierarchy based on the nature of a tree and module design using natural resources ,materials that replace a temporary basic needs from 6 months to a year, hosting 4 people per module and allowing compensation of the material used by planting more trees and keeping the tradition of having one tree per family in each house. The implementation simulates a tree trunk: common areas, supply, nursing and administration will linearly, ending in a temple in the central part respecting the culture and tradition of the community, and the living quarters and dry toilets for every 16 people simulate tree branches in an area with air and road access.
